CHARACTERS: VICKY, JAKE, STEVEN, KIRKLAND, MARY AND ELIZABETH
SETTING: VICKY'S HOSPITAL ROOM
IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE
(Vicky is dressed and sitting on the bed, The twins are lying on
the bed next to her they're dessed in pink dresses and wrapped in
pink & blue blankets. Steven and Kirkland are sitting on the
foot of the bed and Jake's at the Nurses desk doing the paper
work)
VICKY: (To Steven and Kirkland)Jake tells me you
two went shopping with Paulina?
STEVEN: Yeah, we got something for Mary and
Elizabeth
KIRKLAND: Yeah, Mommy! It's a surprise
VICKY: Surprise, Huh? (Jake walks in with a
wheelchair) Who's that for?
JAKE: You! You get a free ride to the car
VICKY: Oh, is that so? (She get in the
wheelchair and Jake hands her the babies, she looks at him) OK!
Lets take our Daughters home
JAKE: I'll go for that! (To Steven and Kirkland)
Come on, guys (He wheels Vicky out of the room, the boys follow

SCENE 10
CHARACTERS: VICKY, JAKE, STEVEN, KIRKLAND, MARY AND ELIZABETH
SETTING: JAKE AND VICKY'S HOUSE
(Steven, Kirkland, Jake {with Elizabeth} and Vicky {with Mary}
walking up to the door)
STEVEN: To Vicky as he's opening the door) Mom!
wait to you see what Me and Kirkland did!
(They all walk in, Vicky looks around the room. It's decorated
with pink balloons and ribbons and there is two bassinetts by the
couch and christmas tree)
KIRKLAND (To Vicky): Do you like it, Mommy?
VICKY: (Smiles) I love it! (She walks over to
the bassinetts and lays Mary down in one, she sits on the couch
and reaches out for Steven and Kirkland) Come here, you two!
(Steven sits on one side, Kirkland on the other side she puts her
arms around them) You two are the best sons a mom could ask for,
You did a great job
JAKE: (Lays Elizabeth down in the other
bassinett) Yeah, they did, Better than me!

SCENE 11
CHARACTERS: JAKE, VICKY, MARY AND ELIZABETH
SETTING: NURSERY
(Mary and Elizabeth are sleeping in their cribs and Vicky's
standing in between them. Jake comes in and puts his arms around
her)
JAKE: Steven and Kirkland are sound asleep
VICKY: So are Mary and Elizabeth, I'm just
watching them sleep and thinking
JAKE: Thinking about what?
VICKY: Oh, i was just thinging how lucky we are
to have the two most beautiful Daughters in the world
JAKE: That they are (He kisses Vicky on the side
of her face)You know you should get some sleep while they sleep
VICKY: Yeah! I know but i just love watching
them
JAKE: Come on, lets go to bed
VICKY: OK! OK! Lets go to bed. Grab the baby
moniter
JAKE: (Grabs the moniter Lets go! (They walk to
their room across the hall)

SCENE 12
CHARACTERS: JAKE AND VICKY
SETTING: THEIR BEDROOM
(Jake and Vicky are lying in bed, Vicky has her head on Jake's
shoulder and his arm is around her)
VICKY: You have the baby moniter?
JAKE: (Reaches over and grabs the moniter off
the knight stand) Yep! Right here next to the bed
VICKY: Good! I want to be able to hear them
JAKE: We will. The boys and I tried the moniters
out to make sure they worked, OH! I have something for you
VICKY: You do? What is it?
JAKE: Yep! (He grabs the box off the knight
stand and hands it to Vicky) This!
VICKY: (Sits up and opens the box as she looks
in the box {In side the box is two little white bells with silver
trim, one is engraved Mary Donna McKinnon, the other one is
engraved Elizabeth Bridget McKinnon} Her eyes fill with tears)
OH, Jake! They're just like Bridgets bells (pause) I love you,
McKinnon!!!
JAKE: (Wipes Vicky's tears) I love you, too,
honey. (He hugs Vicky. Then one of the babies start to cry) I'll
go (He leaves)
VICKY: (She has the bells in her hands, looking
at them) Bridget's bells (She puts them on the knight stand, Jake
walks back in) Who was crying? Is she ok?
JAKE: (Lays back down) Mary. She was a little
fussy, She's ok. She went back to sleep
VICKY: (Lying her head back on Jake's shoulder)
Yeah! We better get some sleep before they do wake up
JAKE: Yeah! and the boys will be up early too
(Vicky shuts her eyes and falls asleep, he kisses her forhead)
That's it, you get some rest!
