SETTING: FATHER'S WAITTING ROOM
(Jake is sitting in a chair looking worried, remembering all the
good times him and Vicky had from childhood until now)

SCENE 6
CHARACTERS: VICKY, DOCTOR, NURSE AND A PEDIATRICIAN
(Vicky is lying on the O.R. bed she's under anesthetic. The
Doctor is standing beside the bed doing the C-Section. The Nurse
is on the other side holding a baby blanket for the first baby,
and the Pediatrician is standing behind her; he's getting a
heatting bed ready for the twins)
DOCTOR: (To the Nurse as he delivers the first
baby) Here comes one (There is a faint cry as he hands the baby
to the Nurse and she hands the baby to the pediatrician)
PEDIATRICIAN: (As he's checking the baby) She
looks good and healthy
(BACK TO THE DOCTOR)
DOCTOR:
(To the Nurse as he delivers the second baby, there is a second
faint cry as he hands the baby to the nurse) How's Mrs. McKinnon?
NURSE: (Hands the baby to the pediatrician, and
checks Vicky's vitals) Her vitals are good
DOCTOR: (To the Pediatrician) And how are the
babies?
PEDIATRICIAN: They're looking real good and
healthy
(AS THE SCENE ENDS WE SEE BRIDGET'S SPIRIT STANDING OVER THE
TWINS)

CHARACTERS: JAKE, PAULINA AND NURSE
SETTING: FATHER'S WAITTING ROOM
(Jake is looking out the window as Paulina walks up and hands him
a cup of coffee)
JAKE: (As he takes the coffee) Thanks
Paulina!,Thanks for being here
PAULINA: I wouldn't miss my Goddaughters' birth
for the world
JAKE: Yeah! (Looking at his watch) I hope
someone tells me something soon (He sits down)
PAULINA: (Sits down next to him, puts her hand
on his shoulder) They're going to be fine
JAKE: (Puts the coffee down) I hope so, Paulina!
I hope so!
(At that point a Nurse walks in)
NURSE:
(Pushing two Hospital bassinets) Mr. McKinnon? (Jake and Paulina
gets up and walks over to the Nurse) I have two little girls that
would like too see their Daddy!
JAKE: (Looking at the twins) They're so tiny!
PAULINA: (To Jake) Of course, they're Newborns
(They laugh)
JAKE: (To the Nurse) How's my wife?
NURSE: She's doing fine. She's in recovery,
Would you like to come with me to the nursery? (They walk out)

SCENE 8
CHARACTERS: JAKE, VICKY, MARY AND ELIZABETH
SETTING: VICKY'S HOSPITAL ROOM
It's 2 hours later
(Vicky
is sitting in the bed holding Elizabeth, Jake is sitting in a
chair next to the bed holding Mary)
VICKY: (Looks at Elizabeth, Mary then Jake)
Well, Daddy, we did it! We have two Beautiful little girls, Mary
Donna and Elizabeth Bridget
JAKE: We sure do
VICKY: Did you call Steven and Kirkland?
JAKE: Yep! I'm going to bring them up in the
morning. They went Christmas shopping with Paulina
VICKY: Christmas shopping?
JAKE: Yeah! They wanted to get something special
for Mary and Elizabeth's first Christmas
VICKY: (Tears start to form in her eyes) Their
first Christmas.
JAKE: (Gets up from the chair and sits next to
Vicky on the bed holding Mary in one arm. He puts his other arm
around Vicky) Are you ok, honey?
VICKY: (Looks at Jake) Yeah! I wish (Pause) I
wish Bridget was here (She lays her head on Jake's shoulder)
JAKE: (Kisses Vicky on the forhead) I know,
honey! I know (They cuddle up with the twins)
(AS THE SCENE ENDS!!! we see Bridget's Spirit in the back ground,
She smiles and says "I'M HERE SWEETIE, MERRY CHRISTMAS MARY
AND ELIZABETH)
