Scene 32 Jake and the boys arrive at the Botanical Gardens

Kirk: (practically jumping out of the car while it's still moving) Come on Jake...we have to hurry

Jake: Kirkland settle down...why are you in such a hurry

Kirk: I just am...now will you get out of the car already

Steven: Kirk, give Jake a break...you're about to pull his arm off

Jake: (looking into Kirk's pleading eyes) Okay okay I'm getting out of the car...do I have time to lock it...or are we in too big of a hurry

Kirk: Now you're making fun of me...will you just start walking

Jake: Okay...I'm sorry....come on Steven (As they start walking, Jake notices how attentively Kirk is looking around)...hey buddy...you okay?

Kirk: (snapping back into reality) Yeah I'm fine (sees the place that Jake and Vicky got married in the distance) Look Jake...there it is...I can see it from here (points)

Jake: (Stopping) Yeah, there it is...(very inconspicuously) well, we saw it...now can we go home

Steven: Nice try Jake, but I don't think you're getting away with that one

Kirk: Not on your life

Jake: (looking at the boys with that puppy dog look) Oooh come on guys...do you really expect me to walk all the way over there...I mean all it will do is bring some memories that are better off locked away in that building

Steven: Why Jake...so you never have to remember the good times...do you never want to remember anything about mom because you know that they will always just be memories because she is gone?

Jake: I've always said you were too smart for your own good

Steven: Look Jake...I know you miss mom...we all do...but she would want us here...I know she would...And I know that you would do anything to make mom happy

Jake: That's a fact

Steven: Well then do this...Just take me with one hand and Kirk with the other...we will do this together

Kirk: (taking Jake's hand) Yeah Dad...we will do this together

Jake: (getting teary) Promise not to let go

S&K: Promise

Jake: Okay then...let's go...(he quietly says to himself) Once again...here I am doing something I don't want to do just to make you happy....because I love you (they walks towards the building)


Scene 33 Vicky and Bridget are sitting in the building and Bridget is trying to help Vicky remember more about her past

Bridget: Do you remember anything else? Come on...you've come this far...don't stop now

Vicky: Ummm....no I'm sorry

Bridget: It's okay I know you're trying...come on let's just walk around

Vicky: (as she walks down the isle she has that dreamy look on her face) I'm feeling something familiar...like I'm doing something I've done before

Bridget: Yes...yes...keep talking

Vicky: Flowers...I remember flowers...ohhh they were beautiful...I can see them Bridget... (realizing that she just called Bridget by her name) Ohhh my God...Bridget...your name is Bridget

Bridget: (with tears in her eyes) Yes...yes...ohh you have just made my day...please keep going

Vicky: (taking Bridget's hands) Oohh Bridget...I'm trying...can you help me a bit...like with my name...maybe if you could just help me with that....

Bridget: Sorry deary...no can do...you have to remember on your own...come on let's walk around some more (as they continue walking down the isle they come upon the seats where Donna, Michael, and Marley were sitting)

Vicky: Wait...I remember this place...I didn't sit here...but someone did...(sits down) wait...where was I...I remember looking back at these seats...my family...my family was sitting here...I can see them...not very good...but I can see them...wait if I was looking back at them then that means I was standing (goes to front of isle)... I was standing right here...but I wasn't alone...Oohhh Bridget....I'm remembering


Scene 34 Jake and the boys are standing outside the building

Jake: Okay...here it is...now we've seen it..can we go now

Kirk: Not until you walk inside Jake

Steven: Yeah Jake...what would be the point of coming all this way if you aren't even going to walk in

Jake: Why dont' you two go without me...I'm just not ready

Steven: Jake...we're a team...you can't turn back now...remember you promised

Jake: Okay just give me a minute to get myself prepared (Jake walks off, as he's looking at the flowers he remembers...) "Who'd ever thought I'd make it this far"

Vicky: "I did...I always believed you would" (Jakes imagination flips to...) "Jake, I choose you...I chose you a long time ago"

Jake: (talking out loud) We were kids together and now we're going to have kids together...Oohh Vic, that was the happiest day of my life...and now I'm standing here, not even 3 years later...I always thought that one day we'd come back here together...the boys make it sound so easy...just walk in to the place that we joined our lives together...I never thought things would end up this way...I had so much faith in us and our future...I just wanted you, the boys, and a few other kids along the way to call me dad...was that to much to ask...(looking at the sky) Ohh Vic, why did things turn out this way...I wish I could understand it...I can barely even accept it...I'm sorry... I know that you would want me to be strong for the boys...I'm trying...I really am...I guess I'm just not strong enough to move on without you

Kirk: (walking up to Jake) Hey, I want to tell you something..."Rely on Jake"...maybe you need to listen to your own advice...let's go inside

Jake:(smiling trying to wipe away his tears) I'm tellin' ya kiddo you are too smart for your own good...okay...let's go and get this over with (they join Steven and the trio walks through the doors...Jake stops dead in his tracks when he sees "a vision" of Vicky standing at the front of the isle) Noooo, it can't be...it just can't be...
