Scene 27
Bridget is visiting a woman

Bridget: (waking up the woman in her apartment) Wake up...busy day...rise and shine

Woman: (disturbed by this ghost she keeps seeing) You again...won't you ever leave me alone?

Bridget: Well deary...I hate to break it to you, but I don't have much of a choice in the matter....have you made any progress

Woman: No I can't remember a thing...why can't you tell me what you know...you know something...I can tell...why can't you just tell me

Bridget: I wish I could...but I can't...it doesn't work that way...all I can do is try to help

Woman: Help...how have you helped...I know you know who is in this picture with me...I know you know how I got pregnant...I bet you even know who the father is...Is it this guy...who is he...was he my husband

Bridget: Look...you want these questions to be answered then you have to come with me....NOW!! (beginning to throw clothes at her) So get dressed

Woman: (waving her arms trying to block the clothes being thrown at her) What? Where are we going?

Bridget: Somewhere important...that's all I can tell you...but if you don't hurry we could be too late


Scene 28 Jake and the boys have gone to meet Donna for lunch

Jake: (talking to the hostess) Hi Shari...we're here to meet Donna for lunch...is she here?

Shari: Umm...no sir...actually we were expecting her back about thirty minutes ago...I can go ahead and seat you if you would like

Jake: Sounds good...thanks...come on guys (they go sit down)

Steven: Jake...where's Nana?

Jake: I don't know...she...there she is

Donna: (running in smiling) Sorry I'm late...I got caught up at the cottage

Jake: It's no problem...did something happen...you look like you've been crying

Donna: Ohh do I? No nothing happened everything is perfect

Jake: My aren't we cheery today

Donna: I think I have a reason to be...I have my three favorite guys back home...where they belong...I couldn't be happier

Jake: (smiles) Well I'm glad you are so happy...everyone ready to order?

Steven: Yeah I am

Kirk: Me too

Donna: Me three

Jake: (remembering leaving his office for their trip to New York...) I guess I'll forth it...(waiving down the waitress) Miss we'd like to order please

Katia: Hello...how are you today?

Jake: We're fine thanks

Katia: And what can I get for you today

Donna: I'll have a grilled chicken salad with Italian dressing on the side a glass of sweet tea

Jake: I'll have a hamburger with onions and some fries...with a Coke

Donna: (smiles) I can see your eating habits haven't changed

Steven: I'll have the chicken fingers...with fries and a Coke

Kirk: I'll have the same

Katia: Okay, we'll get that ready for you

Donna: Thanks Katia...sweet girl don't you think?

Jake: Yeah she's cute

Donna: She's new...she hasn't dropped a tray yet...so I guess we'll keep her around

Kirk: Remember Jake we can't stay long...you promised we'd go....

Jake: (interrupting) I know I did Kirk...maybe we should just wait until tomorrow

Kirk: NO!! I mean...you can't...we can't

Donna: Kirk, what's wrong...where do you three have to go that's so important

Jake: Nowhere Donna...don't worry about it it's no big deal

Kirk: No big deal? How can you say that...how can you say going back to the place where you and mom got married is no big deal (Runs off)

Jake: Kirk! I....(looking at Steven for sympathy)I didn't...

Steven: I'll go get him

Donna: Jake what's going on?

Jake: I don't know I told the boys that we could go back to the Bay City Botanical Gardens...maybe it was a bad idea

Donna: I think it's a great idea...it's a beautiful day to go back too

Jake: Come on Donna...what's with everybody...you all act like it's no big deal that Vicky is dead and I have to go on without her

Donna: Jake I never said that...Victoria being gone...well it's almost too much for me to bare...I just want to see you smile again Jake...like you used to...I want to see those boys happy

Jake: Look Donna...the boys live with Jaime...there's nothing I can do about that...it's just the way things are...it's the way they should be...Jaime can provide a better life than I ever could

Donna: (smiles) Jaime obviously disagrees

Jake: What? What are you talking about...(Steven walks back up with Kirk) Hey guys....Kirk I'm sorry...I didn't mean that the Botanical Gardens don't mean anything to me...that was the happiest day of my life...I could never forget all of the memories of that day...(smirks) well some I chose to forget...but what I'm trying to say is that that place is very special to me...it's very hard to go back there...but for you I will

Kirk: Today?

Jake: Okay...we will go today...here's our food...eat up and then we will go
